These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website and the purchase of goods and services from SO Coffee Trades Limited (“SO Coffee”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these terms.
1. Business & Consumer Sales
SO Coffee supplies both business customers and retail consumers.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, your statutory rights under UK law (including Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) are not affected.
Certain terms (such as cancellations, returns, and liability) may differ depending on whether you are purchasing as a business or consumer.
2. Products & Services
We supply:
- Coffee beans and consumables
- Coffee machines and equipment
- Service and maintenance packages
- Barista training and related services
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to amend or discontinue products without notice.
3. Orders
- All orders are subject to acceptance and availability
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion
- You are responsible for ensuring order details are accurate
- An order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance until dispatched
4. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are listed in GBP (£) and may include VAT where applicable
- Payment must be made in full at the time of order unless agreed otherwise
- We reserve the right to update pricing at any time
5. Delivery
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
- Risk in goods passes to:
Consumers: upon delivery
Businesses: upon delivery or collection
- Customers must inspect goods on arrival and report any issues promptly
6. Consumer Cancellation Rights
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Exceptions apply to:
- Sealed goods not suitable for return once opened (e.g. coffee and consumables)
- Perishable goods
- Custom or personalised products
Returned goods must be unused and in original packaging.
7. Returns & Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refund Policy.
This includes:
- Consumable goods restrictions
- Equipment returns
- Faulty goods
- Refund processing
8. Equipment, Installation & Usage
- Customers are responsible for ensuring suitable space, power, and water supply
- Installation requirements must be met prior to delivery
- Improper use, neglect, or unauthorised modifications may void warranties
9. Custom Orders & Special Equipment
Custom-built, configured, or special order equipment may not be eligible for cancellation or return once ordered, unless faulty.
10. Service & Maintenance Agreements
- Service contracts are governed by separate agreements
- These are non-refundable once commenced unless agreed otherwise in writing
- Service levels will be defined in your agreement
11. Lease & Finance Agreements
Equipment supplied under lease or finance agreements is subject to third-party provider terms.
SO Coffee is not responsible for:
- Finance approvals
- Payment schedules
- Third-party contractual obligations
12. Commercial Equipment & Managed Services
For commercial equipment, revenue share agreements, or managed service solutions, separate terms and contracts may apply.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
For business customers:
- We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses
- Total liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied
For consumers:
- You are entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, or refund where goods are faulty or not as described
14. Website Use
You agree not to:
- Use the website for unlawful purposes
- Interfere with its functionality
- Misuse or copy content without permission
All website content is owned by or licensed to SO Coffee.
15. Data Protection
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
16. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including:
- Supply chain disruption
- Industrial action
- Natural disasters
- Power or network failures

18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
